GXO Acoustics is taking shape as a home for audio products, with listening at the heart of every idea.
We're starting with Horizon V1, our portable radio project. This is where we'll share its development and introduce the audio experiences that follow.

A dedicated tuning experience in a compact, rechargeable design. We're bringing together a colour display, physical controls and stereo listening for the stations you love—and the ones you haven't found yet.

WHAT WE'RE DESIGNING FOR
The intended experience. Final specifications will follow validation.
FM and AM listening, with tuning and station presets. FM station information where RDS is broadcast.
Separate tuning and volume controls, front buttons and a colour display for everyday operation.
Built-in stereo speakers and a headphone output, with sound performance to be tested on the prototype.
A rechargeable battery design with USB-C charging and battery monitoring under development.
Good listening starts long before the first station is tuned. We're reviewing the design, preparing prototypes and making space to learn from practical testing.
The current electronics and enclosure designs are prepared for review. Prototype assembly and listening tests are next.
The radio layout, display position, controls and enclosure shape are defined in the current design. The circuit and PCB have been through successive reviews.
The latest electronics, component selections and enclosure CAD are available for review. Initial firmware adaptation and automated checks are complete, and components are being sourced for prototypes.
Assemble prototypes and check the enclosure fit, reception, speakers, headphones, controls, charging and battery behaviour. This is where design decisions meet real listening.
Use prototype results to improve the enclosure, software and listening experience, then repeat the relevant tests.
Confirm the final specifications, documentation and support arrangements after validation. Availability and a launch date have not been announced.

GXO Acoustics is building a family of audio products around the pleasure of listening. Horizon V1 is one part of that journey. We'll share meaningful progress here as the design becomes a tested product.
